According to the Organizational Charter of NTNU and related regulations, the Personnel Office is divided into four divisions managing organization, appointment, employment, recruitment, promotion, resignation, dealing with their salary scales, achievement, merits, transfers, benefits, training, leave of absence, insurance, retirement, welfare, pension and other personnel related affairs on campus.

At present, the Personnel Office comprises 30 members, including the Executive Director, the Senior Executive Officer, 4 Division Directors, and 24 staff members, devoting to providing excellent personnel services and protecting the legal rights for all faculty and staff members.
